Our Day

All I've been doing lately is getting ready for our move this weekend..

and it happens to be Spring Break this week..

but we haven't really done much..

So today, I said screw it..we are leaving the house..it's too nice of a day to be stuck inside..

plus I finally found my battery charger for my camera..guess where it was..in my room..in the outlet..right in front of my face the whole time!!

lame.

I rounded up the kiddos and with a full juiced up battery we were off..

Here's our day in pictures..

Oh and just to warn you..I was very picture happy after not taking pictures for a few weeks..so this post is definitely dense with pictures..

and since I just feel like posting and not editing..these will be unedited..normally I do a little editing..

The End.

Ha! The charger things sounds like something I would do!

Apparently I completely overdressed my kids today...no wonder their little faces were all red and they were sweating. Bad Mommy!

Thanks for the pics, dear. I've missed talking to you on my walks this week, but didn't want to wake you up again. We're praying for you all to have enough energy as you make your move.
Love, mom

PS We'll be out and about on the bike for our anniversary this weekend. Bob has a cold, but he's determined to power through. Go old hogs!

I love Coldstone, I used to love those green speaker phone things. Those were my favorite. Besides the slides of course.

Cute!!!! Fun day!
I took my son to Coldstone yesterday too!!! I am vegan, so the only thing I ever get is the lemon sorbet with raspberries mixed in (so good... seriously and it's only 175 cal for the 'like it' size). ANYWAY while I was waiting for them to mix up my son's (he got cotton candy with sprinkles, so fun!) a lady jumped ahead of us and ordered. Normally I don't pay attention to what other ppl order but omg it sounded soo good. I have been thinking about it non-stop since I heard her order it. She was a super cute tiny little hipster mama, I want to be her! Here's her order: 1/2 chocolate 1/2 coffee (who knew you could mix flavors of ice cream), with chocolate chips, almonds, and caramel.
Ok, so probably not exciting enough to earn a special name and ingredient list on the coldstone board of suggested combos, but to me, at that moment is sounded perfect! And so much better (not to mention more fun) than my lemon/raspberry thing.

That looked like fun. They have been closing the Coldstones here so we have to opt for The Golden Spoon which is still really good and more forgiving of my waist. Sometimes you just need to say screw it all and go have some fun. Good for you choosing fun.
