Anyway, I came up with what I think could be a really fun idea..

I thought it would be fun to play "rate my space" bloggy style..I would pick a room in the house..such as the living room, family room, dining room, bedroom, etc..You would email a picture of your space to me..I would choose the top 10 spaces..You all would vote on what your favorite space is..I would show the top 3 on my blog and then I would vote for the best one and the winner of that space would get their blog highlighted on my blog for a week..
Does that sound like something you would be interested in? We could go through all the spaces in a house..Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Family Room, Master Bedroom, Kids Bedroom and game room/basement if you have one..
I thought we could start with the Family Room..If you're interested email the picture of your Family Room to me by Wednesday..and I will have the top 10 pictures ready for you to vote on by Saturday..On Saturday I'll let you know what the rest of the deets are..
I'm beyond excited about this and hope you will participate..if not..I'll be sad..
If it's a success..I'll do it once a month..each month a new space..till we run out of spaces..
So what'ya say..Let's do this!!

Cool idea.. I have ZERO spaces I would like photographed or could possibly even win LOL but I love to get ideas for our future house so I hope alot of people play along so I can steal their decorating ideas ;)

Yeah, I'm with Brianne, I'm not sure ANY of my spaces are blog-worthy right now... you saw my plea for boudoir help last week!!! But I love interior decorating, so I will definitely enjoy looking inside everybody elses rooms!

I am totally lurking on this one. We've been working on remodeling our house for a while now so I would love to steal some ideas!

I LOOOOOOVE this idea! Love, love! Sadly, my present abode has no family room to speak of ... though we have carved out a couple hangout spaces in our unfinished basement - so very NOT Better Homes and Gardens!!! :-)

ok i am going to motivate myself to do this, but i have a suggestion to make.. i think you should have two separate lists of winners.. one for the best space-as is, and one for the ten with the most potential. where people can give suggestions to MAKE it a better space.. my house is nice right now, but we haven't made any changes since we moved in.. and it sounds like lots of people in your comments need that extra motivation..
