I'm an idiot!

My hands were full..I was trying to open my car..looking for my key..I put my phone on top of the car..

I'm an idiot!

I got in my car..drove off..

I'm an idiot!

As I was turning the corner a mile down the road..I notice something fly off and hit the pavement..

I'm an idiot!

It's my phone..

I'm an idiot!

I pull over..get out of the car..try to signal to the truck behind me, not to run over my phone..He did.

He's an idiot!

Next came the van..after the van..I run to my poor shattered phone..I pick up it's pieces and try to put it back together..

I'm an idiot!

It's not working..I have no phone..

I'm an idiot!

*cry*

Suck! My husband did that with MY keys not to long ago. But my phone, I would die.

But hey, maybe you can get a cooler phone?!

That sucks!!! I have done that a few times before but never with a phone! My son was just reminding me the other day of a time when I did that with a water bottle :o) I'm sorry about the phone!

This is clearly the fault of the idiots who drove over your phone! Don't they know enough to stop when they see someone signaling then?

I too {almost} needed a new phone {2 months before my contract is due and I can get a new phone FREE}. I had mine in a pocket, got out of the car in a manner that caused the phone to fall out of my pocket, it slid across the ice covered parking lot and into a snowbank. It was found by someone who, thankfully, only called one of his friends and three of mine (to find me). BigB called him, um me?, from his phone and all was, thankfully solved.

Too bad the idiot didn't make your ending a happy one too. {grin} It is clearly, as cindi said, all his fault!

Oh does that suck! At least it was just your phone. There was a real idiot on the news once who actually had his baby in his car seat on the roof of the car...ON THE FREEWAY!!! Someone flagged him down, and the baby was okay, but could you freakin imagine??????????

Ugh. I have been there. But mine I didn't know I had dropped and someone found it picked it up, took it home and called me to come and get it. To the sketchiest scariest house ever. I was sure I was not going to make it out alive. Good luck phone shopping.

I did the same thing a few years ago, I was busy trying to get the kids in the care because we were running late to karate class, put my phone on the roof and didnt enough know it till we go to karate class, had to run home and found it 2 doors down, it had road rash but luckily was still usable (since it was only a week old)
