Okay, so sometimes I have certain moments..some might even call them senile..
and I hate to admit, but I probably have them more often than I should..
For instance, the other day..I made a wonderfully wonderful pot of coffee..poured myself a cup..drank it..bout and hour later..I go back for another cup..I absolutely cannot find the coffee pot..It's not sitting in the coffee maker..WTH!
Where could it be? I look everywhere! It's not on the counter..it's not in the pantry or in the bathroom..or the trash..So I look in the fridge..I did not find the coffee pot in the fridge (gasp!)..I would never be so absent-minded to do such a thing..Nope not me! Cold coffee..here I come..or Not!
This could also maybe be called a senile moment..
It involves Le Big Mann's wallet..
On saturday we went to Target..I had Le Big Mann's wallet in my hand..He handed me the baby, so I could put her in her carseat..I did not put his wallet on top of the car while I got her in..I did not forget about said wallet and we did not drive off with it.on top of the car...We did not drive to the next shopping center and I did not get out of the car and find the wallet still sitting in the same spot as I left it..Nope, not me!
Thank God, we did not go very far..I would have had one very ticked off Big Mann..*shudder*
Last but not least, I am not very, very fond of brownie batter..Just sayin'!

I cant believe the wallet was still there!! Thats awesome :)
That is too funny! I can totally relate to putting stuff on the roof of the car. I do it all the time! Poppin over from SITS to say hi!
You've made my day, Keel. Now I know absent mindedness has nothing to do with age! Thanks for the inadvertent encouragement that I am so NOT heading down the Alzheimer road! Love, mom
OMG that would so be me. Sometimes I am just like where the hell is your head. The other day we went to NYC and were staying at my moms. I forgot Madison's clothes and my pj's! Um hello!!! Thankfully we had the children! Ha!
Talk about luck on that one! Wow. And I think I've heard about a study where they say postpartum moms' brains shrink a bit. So, um, I guess the next question is, how long can we consider ourselves postpartum? Think 18 years is a bit too long? ;-)
