Hot and Healthy Thru the Holidays..Week 2

Welcome back Hot and Healthy girls!!  Wahoo..we made it through one week!! Are ya feelin' Hot and Healthy yet?  Well, if your like us..you're not quite feelin' it... yet....good thing we have many more weeks to go..right? Let me here a WOOT WOOT!!

So we have a few questions  for ya..

How'd your first week go?

Did you get your cardio in?

Did you try any of Mama M's snacking tips?

Did you at least try the Pilates Hundred?

Are you taking this as serious as we are?

What are your thoughts?

Once you have those questions answered..make sure you link up...and lets try to leave as many encouraging comments on each others blogs as we can..Also, for linking up this week there will be an INCENTIVE..can't tell ya what it is tho..you'll just have to trust us.  For those of you that are doing this and don't have a blog..leave a comment on either my blog or Mama M's

For those of you that didn't get a chance to link up last week and still want in..well, go ahead and link up today..or when you get a chance..MckLinky will be up till Thursday.

Also, we have come up with a Healthy Recipe Blog Hop for Saturdays..Let us know your thoughts on that as well..Like it..don't like it...let us know!

Every week we will each post about how we did during the week...under this post..so make sure you read both of our blogs to see how we did..

Let's get this week started..

The goal for this week is add at least 20 extra minutes to the 150 mins you're already doing..for a total of at least 170 mins..feel free to spread it out however you want...Also..try the Pilates Hundred at least 3 days this week..

-------------------------------------

Alright peeps..Normally I work out way more that I did this past week, but I did get all my cardio in, plus some...For some reason I just wasn't feelin' the treadmill love...But I'm back on track this week!!

Did Mama M's snacking tips make you more aware of what you put in your mouth?  They sure did for me!!  Except Friday night was a complete failure..The Halloween candy that I had been ignoring for most of the week started calling me.."Yo, Keely!  Come eat me!!  You know you want too..." Yep, it was like that..So I did consume more than I probably should have...but, now that it's gone, I don't have to worry about it anymore...Suhweet! (no pun intended)

My goal for this week is to just keep doing what I've been doing (running 6 miles 4-5x a week). Also, to stay aware of what goes in my mouth..and try not to eat too much!

So there ya have it..that's how I did..Link up and tell us how you did!!  Remember..Incentive, Incentive, INCENTIVE!!!!

6 miles 4-5 times a week? Gosh, you really are my hero! Just realized I need to go edit out the Mama M. in my blog...I usually don't like to refer to myself in the third person, you know?!!

Keely, your running routine puts me to shame. I only got to the gym TWICE last week (although I did have my normal 45 minute dance class, so maybe that should count as a workout?). You're definitely giving me something to work up to!

I like the recipe thing for Saturdays! I did a ton of walking, it has been so nice! We also had a dance party, thanks to Mama M's idea! I have been eating better but seriously the candy is still in my house! I think my husband wants to get me fat! Ha!
I wish I could run like you!

You ROCK!!! When I grow up I wanna be just like you (running 6 miles 4-5x a week) :o) I have always wanted to be a runner but I have never been able to get into it. I can run a mile and then I am done....so done I feel like I am going to die any second!!! I told my husband that I want to get a treadmill to have at home so I can run on it...maybe one day when we win that daggon lottery :o) Good luck this week and keep up the good work!!

I know that I said last week, that I would join in with you girls. However, being that I am 38+ weeks preggo and planning on meeting B3 in a week (c-section)... I am sad to say that I will have to drop out.

I *do* bounce back (able to move) fairly quickly. However, I won't be able to complete or participate in any of the fun challenges. BUMMER! :(

If you do decide to do something like this *again* around the new year... I am all in! :)

Good luck girls, keep up the great work! :)

Hi, I'd like to join in the fun. How do I sign up? What are the rules, how long does it go for?
